Maria Toulas, 79, entered eternal rest on May18th. She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Andreas, her two children, Andrew Toulas (Wendy) and Clare Villanueva ( John). She was a loving grandmother to 6 grandchildren, John 10, Arianna 9, Colin 9, Michael and Cate 8 and Gabriella 6. Beloved sister of Frank Consoli (Anna), Grace Bernardo (Richard) and Angelo (Eleanor). Maria was a Bellmore-Merrick social studies teacher for 35 years who lived a life of service. She was an avid St. Agnes volunteer and parishioner, and dedicated her life to volunteering for multiple charities such as Literacy Volunteers, Mercy Cancer Care Hospice and Island Harvest. A beach lover, avid cook, prolific writer and loving mother and grandmother. May she rest in eternal peace surrounded by those who have gone before her.
