Margaret B. Wilton(Viel), 76 years old, 55-year resident of South Hempstead, passed away on Saturday 4/11/2026 with her sons by her side. She was born in Staten Island New York and raised in Franklin Square New York. Beloved Wife to Leslie Wilton for 55 Years, mother of Matthew and Edward, mother-in-law to Lacey, Grandmother Peyton and Paisley.  Sister, Sister-in-law, and aunt to many in the Viel, Kurtz, O'Connor, Creaven, LoPiccolo, Ryan, Truncale families.  Margaret worked as a home maker until later years when she held many roles at Molloy collage in the registrar's office, bookstore, and security where she was known by many.   She served the community on the civic association as well as a Nassau county auxiliary police for 30 plus years. Margeret was a funny, energetic person with a hardy laugh and a passion for her family & Friends. She enjoyed her animals, bowling, reading, astrology, gardening , and serving her community.  She will be missed by many as she starts her journey home to her creator.

Margaret is predeceased by her parents Ed & May Kurtz and In-Laws Buster & Estelle Wilton

Family and friends may visit at the Thomas A. Glynn & Son Funeral Home on Thursday April 16, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Agnes Cathedral 29 Quealy Place Rockville Centre, NY 11570 on Friday April 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM.  Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery.
