Hoyt, Margaret O'Neill ("Peggy"), 81, of Rockville Centre died on July 28, 2020, after a prolonged struggle with cancer. Mother of Mary Alice Sherrill of New York and Lawrence, Jennifer Hoyt of Rockville Centre, Arthur Hoyt of New York, and Edward Hoyt of Baltimore, MD; cherished grandmother of Sayre, Malcolm, Guinevere, Oliver, Dallas, and Alice; dear sister of Kathleen Farrell of Jamesport and Rockville Centre, Mary Kelly of Rockville Centre, and Patricia Johnson of Oceanside. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Arthur Hoyt, and her dear brother James O'Neill of Philadelphia. Longtime broker with Martell Realty, member of Hewlett Point Yacht Club, and volunteer with St. Agnes Cathedral Outreach, where she was a faithful parishioner for 50 years.
