Joseph Slayne passed away peacefully on May 5th, 2016. He was a resident at Queens Nassau Nursing Center in Far Rockaway NY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Joseph Slayne and Elizabeth Foley Slayne, his sister Elizabeth (Bitsy), and brothers Brian and Michael Slayne. He is survived by his brothers Christopher Slayne of Port St Lucie, Fl., Peter Slayne of Oceanside,NY and his sister Mary Lou Huber of North Carolina.

He is also survived by 5 Nephews and 5 nieces.

Inurnment will be in the family plot at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood in Westbury, NY at a later date.
