Bond,Jean 82,of Rockville Centre on June 29, 2016. She was born Jean Louisa Quinn on January 21, 1934 in Antrim, Northern Ireland and earned a Culinary Arts degree before moving to and living in the Northwestern Territories of Australia for 5 years. After living in the outback working at sheep and cattle ranches, she traveled throughout Asia, Africa and Europe before coming to the states in 1961. She was the wife of William James Bond for 35 years. Jean was a very active volunteer for more than 30 years at South Nassau Communities Hospital. She is survived by her children Dennis, Angela and Michael, as well as, 6 grandchildren Robert, Kerry, Taryn, Zachary, Gerald and Dana whom she loved dearly.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday July 9, 2016 from 3-5 PM.
