Elizabeth Anne (LaFlare) Krol, 64, of Rockville Centre, passed away peacefully March 9, 2021. She was born to the late Joseph LaFlare and Mary Jewel Dickinson, November 19,1956, in Rockville Centre, NY. Liz graduated from Garden City High School in 1974 and received a BA in in English from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in 1978. Liz has lived in RVC since 1984. Liz is survived by three children: John Paul Krol (Mackenzie), of Waitsfield,VT ; Justin Krol (Sarah), of Lansdale, PA; and Mary Kathleen Krol, of Whitehall, NY. Along with her sisters, Mary Ellen and Patricia and her brother Joseph. She is also survived by two grandchildren Lily Ava Krol and Caleb Ridley Krol. Many wonderful friends as well, Randi Krutzler, Marion Ege, Denise Murphy, Janice and David Craft, Carole Mueller, Kathy Smith and many more. Liz was an amazing stay at home mom raising her three children. Liz was an accomplished cook and baker and ran a catering company with her predeceased best friend Paula Geremia. Liz was a staple in the RVC community serving as library board president for ten years, involved in many community events from school functions, St. Agnes and the rec center. Liz was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life and brought her much joy. Viewing ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 12pm-2 pm at Glynn Funeral Home. The zoom conference will begin just before 2pm when the priest and family comments will commence.
