Carolyn W. Dalton, 88, of Rockville Centre, passed away on September 28, 2026. Beloved wife of James M. Dalton. Cherished aunt to James Dalton, Pam Dalton, Eileen Cole, Mary Silverberg, John Silverberg, Anne Dalton, John Dalton and Katie Dalton. Great aunt to Rachele Silecchia, Anne Marie Dalton, Katie Cole, John Silverberg, Michael Silverberg, Noah Liao, Claire Silverberg, Bridget Dalton and Anne Dalton, Selene Mooney, Michael Silecchia, Kaitlyn Silecchia, Wesley Silverberg and Mallory Silverberg.

Carolyn Hill was a graduate of St. Joseph’s College for Women and she earned her Master’s in Early Childhood Education from Brooklyn College. She was a kindergarten teacher in District 24 at the Buck School for 33 years. Carolyn and her husband, Jim, traveled the world. She was an avid reader who enjoyed the New York Times Crossword puzzle and was the quintessential hostess. She will be deeply missed by her many family members and friends!
