Barbara Ethel Schneider (May 19, 1940 – April 16, 2022)

Born to Carl and Isabel Gattiker in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Loving wife of the late William G. Schneider, Jr. Dear mother and friend to daughters Jill (Cameron) Livingstone and Jennifer (John) Dwyer. Proud and doting grandmother of Andrew, Caroline and Brian Livingstone and Cassidy and Jason Dwyer.

Barbara was a devoted mother and wife to her family and is remembered as a friend to many from her involvement in the Hewitt School PTA, Rockville Links golfing and pool, teaching career at Baldwin Middle and High Schools and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

She will be remembered for her class and grace, signature hats and fashion and eternally optimistic outlook on life.
